Senior Electrical Engineer - Massachusetts
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with eight or more years of experience in consulting engineering. The ideal candidate will have a strong and innovative technical background in electrical engineering and will work collaboratively with a team of engineers, consultants, and design professionals to develop energy-efficient electrical systems for a variety of building and infrastructure projects. We are looking for a self-motivated leader who thrives on delivering successful outcomes for both the team and clients.
In this role, the Senior Electrical Engineer will take on multiple responsibilities, including electrical design and production, project management, client engagement, and team mentorship. This position involves designing electrical systems, power distribution, lighting and lighting controls, emergency power, UPS, renewable energy systems, fire alarm systems, and low-voltage systems (IT, security, access control, etc.) for bidding and construction. The selected candidate will be engaged throughout all project phases and will contribute to business development efforts as well.

Qualifications & Experience:
8+ years of experience in MEP design
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) license in Massachusetts required
Experience with internal and external project management
Strong background in MEP design and specifications
Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with owners, architects, and clients
Experience with Healthcare, Higher Education, K-12, and Commercial market sectors
Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
Responsibilities:
Lead and guide design and construction projects, working closely with clients and contractors.
Provide mentorship and leadership to junior engineers.
Develop and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
Oversee and stamp engineering drawings and prepare required documentation.
Communicate effectively with clients, owners, architects, and contractors, leading meetings as necessary.
Apply engineering principles to design and evaluate systems that meet project requirements.
Specify system components to ensure compliance with project goals.
Review contractor submittals and shop drawings for contract conformance.
