Senior Electrical Design Engineer
Location: London Bridge, London
Salary: Up to 70,000 per annum + Benefits

Our client is a leading international building services consultancy based in London Bridge, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join its progressive and expanding team. Role Overview
The Senior Electrical Design Engineer will lead electrical design across major projects, provide technical guidance to junior engineers, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality, innovative engineering solutions. The role requires a confident communicator with strong leadership, design, and project management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the electrical design process from concept through to construction
Develop detailed electrical designs including low voltage distribution, lighting, fire alarm, data, and security systems
Coordinate with mechanical and public health engineers, architects, clients, and contractors
Oversee design documentation including calculations, specifications, drawings, and reports
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards
Provide mentorship and technical support to junior and intermediate engineers
Attend design team meetings and represent the electrical discipline in client and stakeholder discussions
Carry out site inspections and commissioning reviews

Requirements
Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent)
Minimum 7 years experience in electrical design within a building services consultancy
Strong understanding of British and international standards
Proficient in software such as AutoCAD, Amtech, Dialux/Relux, and Revit MEP
Experience working on large-scale projects in sectors including commercial, residential, healthcare, education, and hospitality
Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
Chartered Engineer status (or working towards) is desirable
