Job Title: Sr. Electrical PCB Design Engineer

Location: Addison, TX (Onsite Only)

Type: Contract or Full-Time

Visa: Any visa accepted (H1B, GC, USC, etc.) - Must be active, with at least 1 year validity


Position Overview:

We are seeking experienced and hands-on Sr. Electrical Engineers with strong expertise in multi-layer PCB design (12+ layers) using Cadence Allegro/OrCAD tools. This is a fully onsite role based in Addison, TX, for a leading aerospace company. The ideal candidate should be currently engaged in PCB design, development, and testing work.


Key Requirements:

  • 8-15 years of total experience in electrical engineering and PCB design
  • Strong hands-on expertise in multi-layer PCB design (12+ layers)
  • Proficient in Cadence Allegro and/or OrCAD for schematic capture and layout
  • Experience in end-to-end product development: design, schematic, layout, testing, and release
  • Good communication skills (must interact with cross-functional teams)
  • Must be currently working (for H1B candidates - not in grace period)

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with analog and digital circuit design
  • Background in DSP/microprocessor-based hardware
  • Familiar with network/Ethernet design
  • Skilled in using lab tools: oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, etc.
  • Familiarity with DO-160G qualification testing and HALT (Highly Accelerated Life Testing)
  • Embedded software familiarity (C, assembly) is a plus

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop complex electrical systems for aerospace applications
  • Conduct detailed schematic capture and PCB layout (12+ layers)
  • Perform design validation, testing, and release of prototypes and production units
  • Work with mechanical and systems engineers to deliver complete solutions
  • Maintain and produce documentation: test reports, design docs, validation summaries, etc.
  • Implement continuous improvements in product robustness and manufacturability
