Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical controls system design and programming.
- Expertise in Allen-Bradley Compact Logix PLCs and HMI development.
- Strong understanding of industrial sensors, actuators, pneumatics, and circuit design.
- Familiarity with power distribution, data collection, and vision systems (Keyence preferred).
- Experience with tools such as Fanuc robots, IAI actuators, and Turck HMIs is a plus.
- Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Willingness to work on-site and be involved in hands-on engineering and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test electrical control systems for industrial machinery.
- Program and debug PLCs and motion control systems (Allen-Bradley, EtherNet/IP, IO-Link, ModBus TCP).
- Lead engineering documentation including schematics, supplier communications, and ECOs.
- Maintain and improve existing electrical systems on production equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical/control system issues to maintain optimal performance.
- Collaborate across departments during all stages of product and process development.
- Manage projects from concept through implementation, including timeline and budget adherence.
- Support the manufacturing floor with hands-on problem solving and process documentation.
