Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE), Electrical Engineering Technology (EET), or equivalent

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical controls system design and programming.
  • Expertise in Allen-Bradley Compact Logix PLCs and HMI development.
  • Strong understanding of industrial sensors, actuators, pneumatics, and circuit design.
  • Familiarity with power distribution, data collection, and vision systems (Keyence preferred).
  • Experience with tools such as Fanuc robots, IAI actuators, and Turck HMIs is a plus.
  • Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Willingness to work on-site and be involved in hands-on engineering and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and test electrical control systems for industrial machinery.
  • Program and debug PLCs and motion control systems (Allen-Bradley, EtherNet/IP, IO-Link, ModBus TCP).
  • Lead engineering documentation including schematics, supplier communications, and ECOs.
  • Maintain and improve existing electrical systems on production equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical/control system issues to maintain optimal performance.
  • Collaborate across departments during all stages of product and process development.
  • Manage projects from concept through implementation, including timeline and budget adherence.
  • Support the manufacturing floor with hands-on problem solving and process documentation.
