We are hiring a Senior Manager, Editorial to drive the editorial vision across its marketing and communications channels. This individual will partner closely with the Editorial Director to refine the firm's written voice and ensure all content meets brand, tone, and style guidelines.

Role Overview:

  • Oversee editing of a wide array of materials-from client alerts to internal memos-ensuring alignment with AP and firm-specific style standards.
  • Guide firmwide editorial standards across digital, print, and internal platforms, including practice area overviews, attorney bios, and social media.
  • Produce and fine-tune content for digital spaces such as the firm's website and social channels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, business development, admin) to align content with strategic goals and target audiences.
  • Support editorial aspects of rankings and awards submissions.
  • Manage content pipelines and editorial processes to ensure quality and timely execution.
  • Act as a key editorial gatekeeper, ensuring a consistent and professional tone across all touchpoints.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Must have at least 10 years of law firm experience, preferably within a large firm
  • 10+ years in editorial, marketing communications, or business development
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or related field (required)
  • Deep knowledge of AP style and editorial best practices
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee complex content initiatives and editorial calendars
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office and digital content tools
  • Solid understanding of legal marketing language and practices
