We're looking for an Senior EDI & Logistics Specialist to identify and implement process improvements, system optimizations, and cross-functional initiatives that enhance EDI, 3PL performance, and overall fulfillment efficiency through actionable data analysis.

This role is based in our office in San Francisco, CA and is required to be in-office 3 days per week.
Who You Are

The Senior EDI & Logistics Specialist is responsible for leading EDI and logistics operations across key retail and wholesale accounts. This role manages end-to-end order flow, vendor setup, chargeback resolution, 3PL coordination, and compliance with routing requirements. The ideal candidate is highly organized, data-driven, and experienced in cross-functional collaboration to ensure operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

What You'll Do
EDI Management
  • Assign customer SKUs and attach relevant documentation and delivery instructions to customer records
  • Collaborate with the NetSuite team for account setup and maintenance
  • Conduct EDI testing with internal and external support teams to validate document accuracy
  • Monitor SPS Commerce dashboard, investigate errors, and coordinate resolution or escalation
  • Review new EDI requests in Asana, coordinate with 3PLs, and maintain documentation in shared drives
Vendor & Account Setup
  • Review Retailer Agreements for all logistics requirements prior to signature
  • Create and manage new vendor records and setup processes
  • Coordinate onboarding meetings with Sales and SPS teams
  • Oversee onboarding documentation, Asana requests, and testing for new accounts
  • Map SKUs to appropriate sales channels and fulfillment locations
Logistics Operations
  • Interpret and ensure compliance with retailer routing guides in coordination with EDI, SPS, NetSuite, and 3PLs
  • Manage 3PL relationships, including monitoring performance, resolving issues, and aligning on SLAs
  • Facilitate label and ticketing implementation by 3PL for retail and wholesale orders
  • Handle special order requests (e.g., labeling, gift messages, priority handling) in partnership with Sales
Order Management
  • Monitor and validate warehouse transactions vs. NetSuite/SPS records
  • Review and process approved sales orders, submitting to the 3PL for fulfillment
  • Coordinate RMAs and support reverse logistics activities
  • Respond to logistics requests in Asana with accurate and timely updates
Chargeback Management
  • Investigate and resolve chargebacks through retailer portals or email correspondence
  • Track and document chargebacks manually in Google Sheets
  • Collaborate with 3PL or SPS to request reviews or escalate issues for resolution
Cross-functional Collaboration, Reporting & Data Analysis
  • Participate in retailer QC meetings with internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide regular reporting on performance, order flow, chargebacks, and logistics KPIs
  • Drive process improvement and ensure alignment across Sales, Ops, and 3PL partners
  • Analyze operational and fulfillment data to identify trends, uncover root causes, and deliver actionable insights and recommendations to leadership
Qualifications
  • 4-5+ years of experience in EDI, retail logistics, 3PL management, or order management
  • Strong working knowledge of NetSuite, SPS Commerce, EDI and 3PL systems
  • Acts as a subject matter expert for EDI and fulfillment workflows, creating internal documentation
  • Proven experience managing retailer requirements and routing guide compliance
  • Skilled in interpreting operational data to improve fulfillment accuracy, reduce chargebacks, and optimize partner performance
  • Comfortable operating independently and making decisions in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving with the ability to prioritize.
    Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with international trade (i.e., incoterms, certificates of origin, etc.)

Salary Range: $95,000 - $115,000
