In this role, you will be responsible for responsible for overseeing all aspects of the development, management, and implementation of assigned economic IT projects. The role requires strong leadership skills to ensure the project's success from the initial concept phase through final implementation. This position will serve as the single point of contact for all assigned projects, working across multiple organizational units to ensure seamless integration and collaboration. The Senior Economic Analyst will provide technical and analytical guidance, recommend solutions to complex problems, and ensure adherence to quality standards throughout the project lifecycle. Greystones is seeking a Senior Economist Analyst to support the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) in developing data analytic, cybersecurity and IT capabilities. The Senior Economic Analyst will provide technical and analytical guidance, recommend solutions to complex problems, and ensure adherence to quality standards throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: Meet with Government clients to understand their business needs, define research objectives, identify data sources, and develop analysis plans. Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including end users, computer services, and client services, ensuring all areas affected by the project are properly engaged. Gather, analyze, and interpret a wide range of economic data and look for patterns and trends in data to understand the economic landscape. Use statistical and economic models to predict future economic conditions and provide recommendations. Evaluate the potential policies and conduct cost-benefit analysis and present those findings to external and internal stakeholders. Conduct exploratory data analysis using large-scale Government data sources. Develop briefings and reports to communicate key findings to ASR colleagues and government clients. Prepare written reports or presentation summarizing the findings from data analysis and translate complex economic concepts into clear understanding language for target audiences. This position requires candidates to obtain a Federal Public Trust Clearance. Being a US Citizen or a Lawful Permanent Resident is required when obtaining a Federal Public Trust Clearance. Proven experience managing large-scale projects and leading cross-functional teams. Strong understanding of economic modeling, forecasting and data analysis techniques. Experience developing plans, schedules, and budgets to meet requirements and tight deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong client and team interaction skills.
