At the heart of the green-energy space within sustainability in their specialist field - decarbonising a key supply chain in our everyday world. This is a chance to work on some globally impactful products, whereby you will be directly contributing to an important mission: to slow down global warming and help the environment for our future selves. As the demand for their product increases, they are currently in a scale-up phase and are going through an exciting time as they look to bring all of their development in-house.
The Role
As a Senior .NET Developer, you will work on the business's key core product to decarbonise a crucial supply chain in our everyday life - a web application with a mission to make our world more sustainable.
Currently, the team consists of around 30 full-time people, and previously, their development team has been based offshore. Having taken on their first UK hire a couple of months back and having had them fully settle within the business, they are now looking to add a couple more developers to this growing UK-based team. Growing the app development team is a huge part of their roadmap over the next 12 months as they look to add bright minds to their current workforce who are excited about the mission they are embarking on, as the need and demand for their application is increasing.
You will develop brand new Web APIs and new features on the existing application. You will have a thirst for creativity and a hunger for knowledge and will be given lots of autonomy and influence around technical decisions as the company tightens up and improves their development processes. You will preferably be a Full Stack Engineer, eager to learn, passionate about technology with ideally a backend lean. You will be comfortable in a scale-up situation and an ever-changing landscape - you will have an AGILE mindset and not be phased by change or getting stuck in.
