Senior .NET Developer to join our ranks and help build, scale, and generally wrestle our cloud-native applications and APIs into submission.
Job Duties: - Design, develop, and scale cloud-native applications and APIs using .NET and .NET Core like it's second nature.
- Make smart architectural choices, applying synchronous and asynchronous patterns where they actually make sense.
- Write clean, high-quality code that's unit-tested, peer-reviewed, and checked in frequently.
- Develop and design necessary database objects (tables, stored procedures, functions - the usual suspects).
- Implement robust RESTful and SOAP web services within the Azure cloud environment.
- Understand and apply core Cloud computing concepts (IaaS/SaaS/PaaS, load balancing, etc.).
- Step up and lead projects when required, but also function as a productive member of the team without excessive ego.
Ideal Background: - 6+ years of professional experience developing cloud-native applications and APIs, primarily using .NET and .NET Core.
- Significant hands-on experience (at least 2 years) with the Azure Cloud platform.
- Proven track record working on complex, enterprise-level applications, ideally within a SaaS environment.
- Experience implementing both RESTful web services and SOAP services in a cloud setting.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects and collaborate effectively within a development team.
- A solid grasp of cloud computing technologies and architectural patterns.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
