In this senior position, you will collaborate with Navy technology leaders to establish a cohesive technology strategy and a comprehensive five-year roadmap that aligns with the Navy's network transformation and modernization goals.
The ideal candidate will have a profound technical background across various domains, including networks, data centers, end-user services, cloud, and artificial intelligence. You will lead in a SAFe Agile environment, translating overarching strategic goals into actionable, clear plans.
Key Responsibilities: - Strategic Leadership: Develop and maintain the technology vision and multi-year roadmap to modernize and converge Naval enterprise networks, ensuring the architecture incorporates latest technologies like cloud computing, AI/ML, and 5G.
- Architectural Implementation: Break down the strategic roadmap into actionable plans, ensuring iterative development cycles align with Agile methodologies in collaboration with Product Management and Engineering teams.

Qualifications: - Enterprise IT Experience: 15-20 years in IT architecture and systems engineering, demonstrating broad experience in network infrastructure, data centers, and cybersecurity.
- Security Clearance: Must possess an active Secret Security Clearance and ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret SCI clearance.
- Required Certification: DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE).
- Agile/SAFe Leadership: Extensive experience in SAFe environments with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Roadmapping & Execution: Proven ability to develop long-term technology roadmaps and execute on actionable engineering tasks.
- Team Leadership: A track record of managing technical teams and outstanding collaboration skills.
