First State Insurance Agency is looking for talented and resourceful candidates to fill the role of Senior Division Customer Service Representative. The Customer Service Representative will play a critical role on our team and be responsible for administrative tasks to assist our internal teams in delivering first class benefits solutions.

Responsibilities in Accordance with Our Corporate Values

Professionalism

• Engage with customers, colleagues and supervisors on the phone and in person with a high level of professionalism and respect
• Perform administrative activities on client accounts including processing enrollments and eligibility changes

Accountability

• Assisting with vendor/client questions and requests. With a primary focus on Medicare/Senior Division clients
• Assist with record keeping and files for clients, including logging activities and documents in agency management system and maintaining client disclosures for group accounts

Initiative

• Scheduling and organizing AEP season with Senior Division Executive
• Attain thorough understanding of internal processes and team members responsibilities in order to accurately and effectively provide services to client

Adaptability

• Prepares requests for proposals by means of organizing data for quotes and reviewing current plan designs
• Works with Account Manager in reviewing proposal request and obtains additional information needed for quote

Qualifications

• Excellent Customer Service Skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Exceptional written & verbal communication skills
• Willingness to pass/maintain Life & Health insurance license
• Strong sense of punctuality & attendance
• High school diploma/GED
