Job Summary
NetApp is seeking a Senior Director of Product Management for Enterprise Storage. This highly visible leadership role will report to the VP, Enterprise Storage. In this position, you will define the strategy, lead the product lifecycle, and scale NetApp's Block Storage
Job Requirements
- You will lead the Block Storage product team, responsible for end-to-end product lifecycle including building and prioritizing roadmaps, launching new products, and working with the go-to-market organization to accelerate sales
- Build the vision and define/refine potential use-cases, to identify opportunities for growth and competitive differentiation through new solutions and business models; build market requirements and business cases to help commit product delivery.
- Working with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to drive alignment around NetApp's strategic goals and prioritize programs/products with highest return on investment.
- Assess the product roadmap risks by evaluating development, performance, available resources, and budgets.
Make trade-offs and communicate problems, risks, and potential solutions to appropriate stakeholders. - Roll your sleeves and work together with your team to find truly innovative strategies and solutions that solve tough problems for customers.
- Collaborate across product, engineering, marketing, finance, GTM partners to align towards business priorities and scale.
- Attract and lead a high-performing, global product team to deliver a consistently great customer and partner experience.
Education
- Bachelor's or master's degree with at least 15+ years of relevant experience
- Deep expertise in Block and File storage, including knowledge of ecosystem, databases applications and workloads.
- Strong knowledge of storage market trends and storage vendor product offerings.
- Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and change in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with C-Suite executives.
- Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to influence and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong servant leadership skills with the ability to build, inspire, and motivate a high-performing team.
- Demonstrates assertive leadership and thrives in ambiguity
Compensation:
The target salary range for this position is 258,400 - 383,900 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU's), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies.
