Over the past several years, we've built a fast-growing digital business that provides local marketing solutions for local businesses - websites, SEO, listings, reputation management, social media, and digital advertising - all delivered through our proprietary software platform that makes it easy for local SMBs.


This digital business has quickly become a large and important part of Best Version Media's growth story. We're now looking for our first dedicated product leader - someone to work alongside our President of Digital to build and improve


The Role: Own It. Build It. Grow It.


We're looking for a Senior Director of Product to step into a successful and fast-growing portfolio of SMB-focused digital marketing products - including websites, SEO, reputation management, listings, social media, and digital advertising - all provided through our proprietary software platform.


This role is about jumping into something that's working - it's about leaning in, intensifying what's working, identifying opportunities to improve, setting clear priorities, and doing the work to integrate and evolve a proven set of digital marketing products into an even stronger, more scalable platform.


You'll partner closely with the President of Digital to execute against a shared product vision - and bring product leadership rigor to the day-to-day management, enhancement, and expansion of our digital marketing solutions.

This is a hands-on product leadership role - perfect for someone who loves working at the intersection of product, technology, sales, marketing, and customer success, and thrives on making good products great.


This role involves a flexible schedule with regular time spent in the Brookfield, WI office.


What You'll Do

  • Immerse yourself in the customer - understand the needs of small business owners using our digital marketing products
  • Immerse yourself in the sales culture - understand the needs and relationship that our sales force has with customers
  • Prioritize product enhancements, fixes, and innovations that deliver real customer value and drive business results
  • Translate strategy and organizational needs into focused product requirements, actionable product plans
  • Work directly with Engineering and UX to ship improvements, fast and often
  • Engage in vendor and partner relationships powering parts of our digital platform, finding areas of opportunity to improve our offering and efficient delivery.
  • Drive clarity - help Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams know what's coming, what's changing, and why it matters
  • Define and track KPIs that measure product health and performance
  • Spot new product opportunities and customer pain points before they become problems
  • Coordinate product releases across multiple teams and systems, ensuring alignment, training and clear communication to stakeholders.
  • Be a champion for operational excellence - make it easier for internal teams to deliver and support our products

What You Bring

  • 7+ years in Product Management or Product Ownership roles
  • Experience with digital marketing products for SMBs highly preferred (SEO, Listings, Websites, Reputation, Social, Ads)
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, working across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Strong product execution chops - you know how to prioritize, plan, and ship
  • Comfort working across multiple products and systems in parallel
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical abilities; comfortable using metrics to inform decisions.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and integrations
  • Collaborative, curious, low-ego, action-oriented
  • Obsessed with making things better - for customers, for teams, for the business

Ideal Experience

  • Familiarity with digital marketing services, SMB focused products
  • Working knowledge of SMB local marketing trends & customer mindset
  • Comfort working with remote and distributed sales teams
