Role

We're seeking an experienced Senior Director of Paid Media to lead and elevate our paid media strategy, oversee a team of media buyers and managers, and ensure exceptional results in performance marketing.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and execute a high-impact paid media strategy to maximize ROI across Meta, Snap Chat, TikTok, AppLovin, Google, Youtube, and Amazon platforms while ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to diversify media mix and improve customer acquisition and retention through paid channels.

Team Management and Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of media buyers and managers, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Implement processes and frameworks for effective campaign management, optimization, and reporting.
  • Conduct regular one-on-ones, performance reviews, and training programs to upskill the team and build internal expertise.

Campaign Oversight and Optimization:

  • Oversee all ad campaigns, ensuring they are data-driven, direct response, and achieving key KPIs such as CPA, AOV, LTV and ROAS targets.
  • Implement A/B testing frameworks and advanced strategies to optimize creative, targeting, bidding, and budgeting.
  • Troubleshoot underperforming campaigns and pivot strategies quickly to maintain performance goals.

Budget and Performance Management:

  • Manage a 7-8 figure monthly advertising budget, ensuring efficient allocation across campaigns for maximum impact.
  • Provide regular performance reports and insights to the executive team, highlighting wins, challenges, and opportunities for growth.

Collaboration and Innovation:

  • Work closely with creative, product, and programming teams to ensure alignment and cohesion across campaigns and initiatives.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and algorithm updates, leveraging emerging technologies and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in performance marketing, with a proven track record of managing 8-figure annual budgets on Meta and other channels.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience, including managing and developing high-performing media buying teams.
  • Deep expertise in Meta Ads Manager, analytics platforms, and paid media optimization strategies.
  • Strong understanding of eCommerce metrics, customer acquisition funnels, and LTV/CPA/ROAS frameworks.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a passion for mentoring and team development.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
