Job Title: Integrated Business Planning (IBP/GS&OP) Lead
Organization Overview:
Organizational focus on end-to-end supply chain planning including enterprise business planning, capacity planning, production planning, and inventory planning and facilitate key operations decisions.
Role Overview:
IBP Lead to be responsible for developing, executing, sustaining, and continuously improving strategic Sales and Operations Planning process and integration across commercial, finance, production, and supply chain functions ensuring synchronization between manufacturing and overall business objectives.

Responsibilities:
Functional:
- Develop and implement a robust Integrated Business Planning/GS&OP governance process that aligns with business objectives and enhances overall operational performance
- Collaborate with US Supply Chain, IBU and LCM functions for alignment and building consensus on commercial forecast to balance supply with market demand
- Facilitate collaboration between commercial, production, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment of goals and objectives
- Drive the development of an integrated business planning process that spans across sales, production, and inventory management
- Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the Global supply planning function
- Conduct scenario planning exercises to anticipate potential challenges and develop mitigation strategies
- Ensure flexibility in GS&OP planning based on demand signal / demand shaping input to ensure demand-supply balance
- Communicate IBP/GS&OP plans and results to Global Supply Planning lead
- Generate regular reports highlighting key insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
- Coordinate the process to connect BP output with S&OP reference.
- Coordinate the participation of Global Planning in the preparation of the SP and BP exercises.
Leadership:
- Leverage functional and technical expertise to lead and support members of commercial, production, and supply chain teams to optimize performance.
- Partner with executive management to influence company and industry guidelines.
- Provide leadership and coaching to direct and/or indirect reports.
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree plus 10+ years of experience in business, supply chain management, or a related field. Advanced degree or certification in supply chain management is a plus (inc. 5+ years of experience in S&OP leadership within the pharmaceutical industry)
- Has experience in project/program management of complex projects involving cross-functional, multi-site, international teams

Responsibilities:
- Lead the Sales and Operations Planning process monthly, across the entire supply chain for the molecules, to ensure that supply, inventory, and demand are in balance.
- Analyze supply and demand metrics for assigned molecules for inclusion in published reports and discussion at the GS&OP meetings.
- The IBP Lead must be a problem solver, in both technical and business-related issues that occur. Role will propose solutions to identified issues and monitor and drive improvements.
- Analyze demand and production plans in support of molecule strategic/business planning. Ensure completeness of the demand statement in SAP through review of sales and forecast reports and interact with affiliate forecasters and Global Business Solutions teams to resolve identified issues. Provide technical expertise and coaching to team and customers at plant sites, affiliates, GBS, and others as appropriate.
- Work in close partnership with the GSC product consultants in the preparation of the launch of new products and the planning of subsequent life cycle milestones.
- Identify and influence the development of collaborative solutions working across the business units, manufacturing, and key stakeholders
- Evaluate high volume/high value bids and tenders in conjunction with the manufacturing sites and Finance.
- Assure supply continuity during complex global project such as source changes and flavor management in complex manufacturing/regulatory changes.
- Manage Product allocations with input from Manufacturing and Business Unit/Affiliate contacts
- Evaluate Supply Agreements for new business development
- Develop, retain, motivate and recruit when needed supply chain talent to ensure success.
- Mentor and help develop competency center professionals.
