The Brick Industry Association (BIA) is the national trade association representing manufacturers and distributors of clay brick and suppliers of related products and services. Since 1934, BIA has served as the nationally recognized authority on clay brick construction, offering advocacy, education, technical guidance, and marketing support to ensure the success and sustainability of the industry.


Position Summary


BIA is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Digital Marketing & Communications Specialist to help execute our digital marketing campaigns. This role is responsible for developing high-impact digital campaigns, optimizing our web presence, creating compelling content, and supporting internal and external communications. The ideal candidate will have a passion for digital engagement, and strong project management skills.


Key Responsibilities


Digital Campaign Execution


  • Design and execute integrated digital marketing campaigns to boost Bricks' visibility, drive audience engagement, and deliver greater value to members.
  • Manage digital campaigns across platforms (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn), ensuring alignment with organizational goals and KPIs.
  • Innovate and identify new digital tools, trends, and opportunities to grow engagement and improve ROI.
  • Assist in managing digital marketing budgets and support coordination with external vendors and partners as needed.

Website Content & Optimization


  • Create and maintain SEO-friendly content, including blogs, landing pages, product descriptions, and FAQs.
  • Conduct research to ensure website content reflects industry trends and best practices.
  • Regularly update the website to ensure content accuracy, relevance, and alignment with BIA's brand voice.
  • Implement SEO tactics to improve search rankings and site performance.

Performance Tracking & Reporting


  • Monitor website traffic, campaign analytics, and engagement metrics using tools like Google Analytics.
  • Provide regular reports and actionable insights to support data-driven decision-making within the marketing team.
  • Continuously optimize campaigns based on performance data.

Council and Committee Support


  • Assist with six local brick councils and two virtual councils, facilitating communication and collaboration.
  • Organize quarterly meetings, including scheduling, agenda development, presentation creation, and follow-up.

Other Duties


  • Collaborate across departments to ensure cohesive messaging and brand consistency.
  • Contribute to special projects and initiatives as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications & Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, digital media, business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in digital marketing or communications.
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Ads, and marketing automation tools.
  • Strong content creation and writing skills with a clear understanding of SEO principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret data and adjust campaigns for optimal performance.
  • Familiarity with B2B marketing and experience in non-profit or association environments.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
