Expanded are currently recruiting for a Senior Engineer (Digital Build) to drive certainty, engineered safety and excellence in delivery at the M42 Box project (HS2)

The M42 Twin Box structure will carry the new HS2 line across the M42 near Birmingham Business Park and the NEC in Solihull. The new structure will measure approximately 300m length by 25m width and will cover around 130m of the M42. The structure will be built in position while keeping three lanes of traffic open on the M42.

this is an office based role

This is the perfect role for an experienced Senior Engineer to move into a Digital Build role. We are able to support your development in the Digital BIM space.

Known terms: Sub Agent / Digital Construction Manager

If you are:

  • Passionate about seeking best engineering solutions to complex multi-disciplinary interfaces.
  • Detail oriented with a skill for analysing design information.
  • Experienced in Reinforced Concrete Structure construction with a keen interest in temporary works, reinforcement detailing or Design for Manufacture and Assembly.
  • Confident working collaboratively with design consultants and multi-disciplinary teams to resolve issues ahead of construction.
  • Enthusiastic about working with trades and construction management to ensure a buildable solution.
  • Energized by seeing your work reflected in a real construction progress.
  • Looking to gain exposure to high level design decision making related to construction design.
  • Excited about using digital technologies to achieve all the above
