We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our AWS infrastructure including Identity and Access Management (IAM) Ping Identity tools. You will also help streamline our deployment processes and enhance system reliability and performance.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS services (including EC2, S3, EFS, EKS, ECS, IAM, VPC, WAF, KMS, and AWS Config), and DevOps tools (CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, etc.). A strong background in CIAM (Customer Identity and Access Management) or IAM, with expertise in tools like Ping Identity, is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities: AWS Infrastructure Management:
- Provision and maintain AWS resources, including EC2, EBS, EFS, S3, VPC, IAM, KMS, WAF, ECS, EKS, and AWS Config.
- Ensure that infrastructure is scalable, highly available, and optimized for performance and cost.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across AWS environments and services.
CIAM/IAM Integration:
- Manage, and optimize Ping Identity (or other IAM solutions) for identity and access management.
- Configure and maintain secure access controls across multiple environments.
- Collaborate with the engineering and security team to ensure compliance and audit requirements are met.
DevOps and CI/CD Pipeline Management:
- Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines using AWS DevOps tools, such as CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, and other automation tools.
- Collaborate with development teams to streamline the development and deployment process.
- Ensure automated testing and validation are integrated into the pipeline for continuous integration and delivery.
- Collaborate with application developers and architects to implement, troubleshoot, and optimize middleware for scalable and reliable system performance.
Network and Security Management:
- Design and maintain secure AWS networking setups (VPC, subnets, security groups, NACLs, etc.).
- Implement best practices for AWS security and identity management, including multi-factor authentication (MFA), IAM roles/policies, and secure S3 bucket configurations.
Monitoring and Automation:
- Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for AWS infrastructure and applications.
- Automate routine tasks and system management functions using AWS Lambda, CloudFormation, or other scripting languages.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in a DevOps role with a focus on AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, ECS, EKS, VPC, IAM, S3, EFS, KMS, WAF, and AWS Config.
- Experience in working with CIAM tools like Ping Identity, or IAM solutions in general.
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools like CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, Jenkins, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with middleware technologies and integration tools (e.g., MQ, ESB, API gateways).
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform).
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of AWS networking, security best practices, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Terraform.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions like CloudWatch, Datadog, or Prometheus.
- Understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional or equivalent certification.
- Experience with middleware solutions and enterprise integration.
- Exposure to automated testing tools and frameworks.

(HOURLY RATE 70 TO 75). This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
