Senior DevOps Integration Engineer Manassas, VA Contract Position Pay Estimated: $56.43-$61.43 /Hour This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors, (geographical location, etc.) Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security. This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains. Responsibilities: Lead and support software integration efforts across complex system environments, focusing on DevOps practices, system reliability, and high-availability configurations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve integration challenges involving software, networking, and virtualization components.
Plan, execute, and validate software integrations throughout the DevOps lifecycle, incorporating CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and containerization.
Conduct integration of software deliveries and bug fixes; oversee regression testing to ensure compatibility across OS and hardware.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to align work with team goals.
Design and implement high-availability and failover systems using Red Hat High Availability tools such as Pacemaker, PCS, and DRBD.
Maintain thorough documentation of test results and artifacts in compliance with Agile/DevOps practices; contribute to continuous process improvements. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, or Mathematics field
Must be a U.S. Citizen (required by Federal Law)
Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
5+ years of related experience (or 3+ years with a Master's degree); Agile experience preferred
Proficiency in Linux systems administration
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible
Basic knowledge of VLAN networking and Bash scripting
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Sensu Go
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, and KubeVirt
Preferred Experience: Red Hat High Availability solutions (Pacemaker, PCS, DRBD)
Virtualization platforms (Red Hat Virtualization, VMware)
