Sr. DevOps Engineer wanted by GBT US LLC in Scottsdale, AZ.
- Working closely with software engineers, architects, product management and others to design and build the foundational toolset and capabilities that allow GBT developers to quickly bring new features to market
- Building and tuning the CI/CD pipeline, packaging and shipping the application to production. Providing technical contribution to DevOps team by planning and design of DevOps toolset and automation
- Participating in architecture and security reviews for DevOps Projects to comply with GBT Security Standards & Procedures
- Automate security controls, governance processes, and compliance validation
- Evangelizing cloud technologies and CI/CD solutions for wider engineering teams. Identifying cloud infrastructure needs for deployment environments and manage cost by optimizing the usage of resources
- Collaborating with multiple feature development teams to identify needs for building and deploying their applications into various platforms & environments and document the DevOps best practices
- Troubleshooting failed builds and deployments. Determining and fixing environment and configuration issues. Analyzing logs and communicating potential code issues to development teams
- Focusing on developing tools and processes for secure development practice
- Designing and implementing automation for deployment and configuration tasks
- Identifying cloud infrastructure needs for deployment environments and managing cost.
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field plus five (5) years of experience in any occupation which includes the required experience/skills.
- Five (5) years of experience with Middleware Technology (any one or a combination of: MQ, WebSphere, WebLogic, Tomcat, Jboss, Apache, IIS or IBM Webserver)
- Five (5) years of experience with Server Administration: RedHat Linux & Microsoft Windows System Administration
- Three (3) years of Server Administration: Shell scripting
- Three (3) years of experience with Docker & Kubernetes (OpenShift)
- Three (3) years of experience with Jenkins and DevOps Tools
- Three (3) years of experience with Configuration Management: Hands-on experience with Ansible & Ansible Tower;
- Two (2) years of experience with Source Code Management (any one or a combination of GitHub or Bitbucket).
May work from home within commuting distance from office.
Salary $151,757-$170,000yr.
