Senior Devops Engineer

As a Senior DevOps Engineer this person will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our infrastructure and deployment processes for HANA Cloud. They will work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of the applications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design, implement, and manage infrastructure using Terraform to ensure scalable and reliable environments.
- Configuration Management: Utilize Ansible for configuration management and automation of deployment processes.
- Cloud Services: Manage and optimize AWS resources, ensuring high availability, security, and cost-efficiency.
- Kubernetes Management: Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters using Gardener, ensuring efficient orchestration and scaling of containerized applications.
- Continuous Deployment: Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Argo CD to automate application deployment and updates.
- Monitoring and Logging: Set up and maintain monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system health and performance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and security teams to integrate DevOps practices and ensure smooth delivery of applications.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure, processes, and procedures.

Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of experience in a DevOps engineering role
- 4+ years of Terraform with infrastructure as code
- Hands-on experience with AWS (CloudFormation and AWS CDK (Cloud Development Kit) to define and provision infrastructure using code.
- Experience with Kubernetes and Gardener for container orchestration

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Familiarity with Argo CD for continuous deployment
