Position: Senior Developer, BI Data Services

Salary Range: $135,000 - $142,000

Hybrid 2-3 days Onsite

As a Senior Developer for BI Data Services, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise data solutions, enhancing data accessibility and performance across the organization. The ideal candidate will have expertise in data systems architecture, ETL/ELT development, and cloud-based technologies, and will collaborate with teams to optimize data queries and support business intelligence initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead development of data solutions, including data warehouses, marts, and lakes, for large-scale data systems.

  • Design and deploy complex data solutions for both on-premise and cloud environments, ensuring scalability and long-term support.

  • Manage ETL/ELT processes and data services strategies using cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, and SAP.

  • Execute BI and analytics strategies with tools such as SAP Business Warehouse, PowerBI, and others.

  • Own technical SAP BW architecture, integrating both SAP and non-SAP data sources.

  • Develop and optimize BI reports and queries for performance and user needs.

  • Provide production support, troubleshooting complex data and ETL issues.

  • Stay updated on data technologies, act as an internal expert, and collaborate on projects with IT and external partners.

  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and standards across all solutions.

  • Lead workshops or training sessions for business users to improve data and reporting tool usage.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; 7+ years in relevant BI/Data Engineering roles.

  • Expertise in Data Warehousing, data modeling, SQL, and ETL/ELT technologies.

  • Experience with SAP BW, PowerBI, and Business Objects, including ABAP/4 and HANA Views.

  • Strong knowledge of cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, SAP Datasphere).

  • Proficiency in BI and reporting tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik).

  • Hands-on experience managing large data volumes, with strong programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with third-party vendors and offshore/onshore delivery models.

  • Background in advanced reporting tools like Tableau or Alteryx.
