Job Duties:
- Create detailed designs and layouts
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure designs meet project requirements
- Produce accurate technical drawings and specifications
- Review and update existing designs as needed
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a detail designer in associated discipline
- Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools (FORAN preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Education:
Degree in Engineering or relevant field
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years in detail design, with experience in the marine industry
Knowledge and Skills:
- In-depth understanding of design principles
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional qualification in relevant discipline
- Experience in the marine or military and defence sector
