We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer. Job Responsibilities
  • Rapidly bring concept to finished product through production. We are looking for experience with complex electro-mechanical machinery.
  • Lead, teach and organize teams to both have fun and to make kick ass products.
  • Design, calculate, simulate, and analyze mechanical and electrical components and complete assemblies for rotating equipment using SolidWorks and other related CAD software.
  • Work with vendors and supply chain with prototype manufacturing and to validate mechanical-electrical components and assemblies for rotating equipment products by inspecting, testing, and reporting according to inspection test plans and performance test codes, utilizing industrial measurement equipment and methods.
Required Education: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical and or Electrical Engineering

Skills and Qualifications
  • 10+ years of professional experience with engineering rotating equipment.
  • 10+ years of experience in SolidWorks or related CAD software.
  • 10+ years of experience in design and/or manufacturer of high speed and geared components.
  • 10+ years of experience working with outside vendors such as machine shops, foundries, and fabricators from concept to finished products.
  • 10+ years of direct design of products such as integrally geared turbo compressors. Please look at this product and all its parts for expected competencies.   • Demonstrated ability to work with a broad team of engineers, marketing, creativity for new ideas without the fear of failure
  • Ability and experience in building skills and supporting the creativity of others
  • Knowledge of fluid film and friction bearings, spur and helical gears and control systems.

Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Full Time Position (May require work outside of normal business hours as needed)
Supplemental Pay: Bonus pay
