Akkodis is
seeking Design Engineer III for a contract job with a direct client in Gainesville, TX Pay Range: $45- $55/hr on W2 (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.) Title: Design Engineer III Location: Gainesville, TX Term: 6+ month contract- Reviews specification as related to assigned job.
- Prepare check list.
- Prepare lay outs.
- Prepares structural sub-assemblies and drawings.
- Prepare sketches for details.
- Reviews drawing package to assure conformance to requirements.
- Submits completed drawings to project lead for approval and release.
- Liaison for assigned task.
- 5-10 years of exp- they shared they are willing to look at candidates that do not have their degree but have the experience they are looking for.
- Looking for a mechanical designer- aerospace or automotive is good. CATIA V5 - surfacing, SEATS experience is a plus
Education & Qualification- Must have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Design Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Mechanical and Energy Engineering or a related engineering degree (minimum of 12 years equivalent related engineering experience will be considered in lieu of Bachelor's degree).
