Senior Database Developer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Database Developer with a specialization in Data Warehouse and Analytics. In this role, you will be integral to the design, implementation, and optimization of sophisticated database solutions that drive business intelligence and analytics projects. You will ensure data integrity, enhance performance, and collaborate with the analytics team to extract valuable insights from complex data sets.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and optimize data warehouse solutions to support analytical initiatives.


• Maintain data integrity and oversee performance optimization.


• Act as the technical subject matter expert for data and analytics, contributing to efficiency, cost reduction, and risk mitigation.


• Develop reports, manage data loads and audits, ensure compliance, and provide production support.


• Collaborate with IT peers and business partners to design and configure solutions tailored to business needs.


• Work within an agile framework, providing development and QA across multiple platforms, including SQL, Azure, Power BI, and custom applications.


• Engage with application experts to maintain and design system solutions for successful software adoption and user retention.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Analytics, or a related technology field.


• 5-8 years of experience in database development, with a focus on data warehouse design, implementation, and optimization.


• Proficiency in ETL workflow design, data cleansing, transformation, and loading strategies.


• Extensive experience with data dictionaries, data analysis, and relational databases.


• Strong understanding of SQL optimization, including indexing and execution plan interpretation.

Preferred Experience

• Broad experience with database and integration tools such as SQL Server, Azure SQL, Boomi, and Azure Data Factory.
