Reporting to Josh, our Head of Advanced Analytics, who is hands-on and interested in technology, you'll be part of a highly collaborative team that encourages sharing exciting ideas and bringing them to life.
As a Senior Data Scientist, you'll:- Drive value for Simply Business through pragmatic and simplified approaches to complex data initiatives
- Lead data-driven decision-making from data collection and analysis to implementation and monitoring
- Facilitate adoption of ML models through effective stakeholder communication
- Work within an established MLOps team with opportunities to deploy end-to-end solutions
- Continuously improve through active learning, highlighting opportunities to stay at the forefront of Data Science
- Mentor and support team members to enhance team momentum and quality
We're looking for someone who is:- Experienced in Data Science or ML Engineering, or a hybrid of both
- Proficient in Python and familiar with other OOP languages
- Experienced with common modeling processes, packages, and algorithms
- Capable of developing processes, ML Ops, CI/CD, and deployment, preferably in AWS, GCP, or Databricks
- Skilled in leading ML projects from concept to production
- Excellent in storytelling, presentation, and communication, with the ability to explain analysis results to non-technical audiences
- Knowledgeable in GenAI, NLP, and Deep Learning techniques is a plus
