About The Team

The team focuses on two areas: Customer Service andCapability Delivery

• We provide critical customer support to 36k+ users on aregular basis. This support is satisfiedthrough emails, phone calls, training sessions and web publishing / communications.

• The team delivers decision support capabilities to the U.S. AirForce warfighter using AGILE methodologies.

How will YOU support thecustomers?

• Get It Done - Successfully deliver end-to-endprojects/capabilities working through a wide range of challenges andopportunities across multiple organizations.

• Communicate - Communicate regularly with your customers,teammates and stakeholders on both technical and non-technical topics.

• Create - Utilize analytics platforms with businessintelligence tools to create, test, and deploy enterprise capabilities (datamodels, dashboards, reports, etc.)

• Collaborate - Work closely with individuals across the teamto share ideas and ensure accurate and timely product delivery.

About the Position

Thesenior data scientist works closely with data analysts, business analysts,product owners, and key stakeholders to create, deploy, and manage capabilitiesthat apply advanced machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques(forecasting, clustering, NLP, Generative AI, and more) to provide actionabledecisions. Strong Python and SQL skills with AI/ML experience is required forthis role. Preferred individual is self-motivated witha proactive work ethic who prioritizes client delivery.

Key Skills/Experience Required:

• 5+ years of experience in datascience

• Experience with Python libraries usedfor AI development (TensorFlow,Scikit-learn, PyTorch, or Keras)

• Demonstrated experience with supervisedand unsupervised machine learning techniques

• 5+years of experience with tools like Databricks or Jupyter Notebooks

• Strong SQL scripting capabilities fordata query and preparation

Design and implement dashboards integrating AI/ML models using business intelligence visualizationtools (preferably Qlik Sense)

• Ensurethe performance, efficiency, and scalability of deployed products(models, dashboards, etc.)

• Experience gathering, analyzing, andtranslating requirements into functional specifications, prototypes, andworking capabilities

• Requires strong organizational skills and action-oriented personality; experience leading tasks and tracking actions across multipleorganizations

• Excellent analyticaland problem-solving abilities backed by solid writing and highly-effective communication skills; must collaborateconstructively and effectively with project end-users, customers, advocates andstakeholders

• Active US Government SecretClearance required

Other Skills
(beneficial,not required)

• Master's Degree or higher in datascience, computer science, information systems, mathematics, or similardiscipline

Analytical andproblem-solving skills with Business Intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, and SAP Business Objects)

• Experience with automatedmachine learning platforms like DataRobot

Data Access andManagement experience withtools like DataBricks and iQuery

• Familiarity with USAir Force logistsics data

BS / BA degree (or equivalent) required

DoD SECRET clearance required.
