As a Senior Data Protection Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our Data Loss Prevention (DLP) program. Your focus will be on delivering outstanding support, optimizing processes, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring compliance with security standards, and collaborating with various Lines of Business (LOBs) and senior leadership.
Your strong communication skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and aptitude for problem-solving will be essential to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities: - Support DLP solutions, including endpoint, email, and cloud-based tools.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Identify automation opportunities to streamline processes and minimize errors.
- Monitor DLP controls to ensure optimal functionality and compliance with standards.
- Define, track, and report on KPIs to evaluate effectiveness and discover improvement areas.
- Build robust relationships with LOBs to understand their needs and deliver tailored support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex technical issues aligned with organizational goals.
- Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership, translating technical concepts into actionable strategies.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of DLP controls for sensitive data protection.
- Work closely with cybersecurity teams to ensure alignment with enterprise security policies.
Basic Qualifications: - High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
- At least 4 years of experience in cybersecurity or information technology.
- At least 4 years of experience with DLP tools and technologies (e.g., endpoint, web proxy, email solutions).
- At least 3 years of experience in service desk or IT operations.
- At least 3 years of experience with process optimization or service delivery improvement.
- At least 1 year of experience managing relations with various lines of business.
- At least 1 year of experience presenting to senior leadership.
Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- One or more relevant security certifications (CISSP, CISA, CASP, or CCSP).
- 5+ years of experience with ITIL frameworks and Agile delivery models.

- New York, NY: $211,000 - $240,800
- Plano, TX: $175,800 - $200,700
- Richmond, VA: $175,800 - $200,700
