As a Senior Data Engineer in the BuilderWorks team, you will spearhead analytical solutions development, providing crucial information and insights to influence roadmap and investment decisions. This role is pivotal in leveraging emerging technologies to construct new data infrastructures, ensuring scalability and efficiency, and collaborating closely with BI and Data Science teams for report development and ML modeling. Key Responsibilities: Develop scalable and efficient data infrastructure using emerging technologies. Identify data sources and build data pipelines for BI and Data Science utilization. Collaborate with various teams to drive roadmap and investment decisions through insightful data analysis. Work on large-scale data modeling projects, interacting with large and disparate data sources. Employ new technology judiciously to enhance data management and analysis efficiency. Must-Have Skills: 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer and Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and building ETL pipelines Hands-on experience and advanced knowledge of SQL Industry Experience: Prior experience in data engineering within tech-focused or eCommerce domains is beneficial.
