ResponsibilitiesYour Impact: - Hands on with Python, Spark/Pyspark, or SCALA
- Solid understanding and hands on experience with Databricks and Spark, the core engine of Databricks, including its core concepts like RDDs, DataFrames, and Datasets.
- Expertise in data ingestion, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes, data modeling, and data warehousing.
- Act as a trusted AWS expert to clients as part of large digital transformation journeys
- Advance the application of large-scale data platforms as a core building block to enable true business transformation
- Lead Data Migration projects to AWS cloud
- Build complex data pipelines on AWS infrastructure using cloud native technologies
- Work closely with our clients in understanding their needs and translating them to technology solutions
- Provide expertise as a technical resource to solve complex business issues that translate into data integration and database systems designs
- Shape opportunities and create execution approaches throughout the lifecycle of client engagements
- Ensuring all deliverables are of high quality by setting development standards, adhering to the standards, and participating in code reviews
- Mentor, support, and manage team members
QualificationsYour Skills and Experience: - AWS Fundamentals: Deep understanding of AWS concepts like regions, availability zones, EC2 instances, S3 buckets, and IAM roles.
- Compute Services: Proficiency in EC2 for virtual machines, Lambda for serverless functions, and ECS/EKS for container orchestration.
- Storage and Databases: Knowledge of S3 for object storage, RDS for relational databases, DynamoDB for NoSQL databases, and EFS for file storage.
- Networking: Understanding of VPC, security groups, NACLs, load balancers, and Route 53.
- Data Processing: Familiarity with AWS Glue for ETL jobs, EMR for big data processing, and Redshift for data warehousing.
- Machine Learning: Experience with SageMaker for building and deploying machine learning models.
- Programming; Hands on with Python, Spark/Pyspark, etc.
- Big Data: Either extensive knowledge of Spark OR extensive knowledge of EMR or Databricks
- CI/CD: CI/CD on AWS using CodePipeline and related services and/or using Jenkins
- Data Pipelines: Hands on experience with Airflow for data pipelines or AWS Astronomer
- Certification in AWS
Additional Information Annual Pay Range- USD 108,000- USD 160,000
