Our Client is a FinTech company that is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join their growing team in Dallas, TX. About the Role: As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines and solutions that support critical business functions. Day to day tasks:- Design and implement scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather data requirements and develop data models.
- Optimize data warehouse performance using Snowflake best practices.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including analysts, data scientists, and product teams.
Required Experience:- 5+ years of experience as a professional data engineer
- Strong professional experience with Snowflake (data warehousing, performance tuning, security).
- Proven background in financial services or related regulated industries.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with data integration tools (e.g., dbt, Fivetran, or similar).
- Knowledge of cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Pluses:- Experience with Python or other scripting languages.
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks and tools.
- Exposure to BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
