The Senior Data Architect/Scientist will be responsible for constructing and enhancing the comprehensive Enterprise Information Model (EIM) that serves as the backbone for data integration and decision support within a maintenance ecosystem. This position requires expertise in consolidating various data sources into a cohesive model while ensuring the accuracy and quality of data through effective governance practices. The architect will leverage machine learning and advanced analytics to derive meaningful insights and support operational efficiencies in maintenance and logistics functions.

Required skills for this job include:
- Proficient in data architecture and engineering principles
- Expertise in data integration techniques and data quality management
- Strong analytical skills with experience in machine learning methodologies
- Knowledge of data governance frameworks and compliance standards
- Experience in developing data models and standardization protocols
- Experience in DoD logistics and understanding of maintenance processes
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset
- Integrate and extract relevant information from large amounts of structured and unstructured data
- Experience with tools such as Cameo
- Experience with data sourcing, data cleansing, and data preparation
- Experience and knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques, their benefits and drawbacks, and their real-world applications
- Strong Python programming
- Innovative, creative, out-of-box thinking
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with executives, managers, and subject matter experts
- At least ten (10) years of experience in data execution, presenting data insights and recommendations to key executives and stakeholders
- M.S. and/or Ph.D. in engineering, computer science, statistics, analytics, mathematics, or related scientific discipline
- Must have or be willing to obtain Secret Clearance (this requires US Citizenship)
- Acceptable candidates must successfully pass a drug test and background screen
Desired skills for this position:
- Collaborative coding experience and competency with Git
- Experience with real-time data processing and analytics
- Familiarity with advanced statistical analysis and predictive modeling
- Proficiency in data visualization tools and techniques
- Skills in risk assessment and management in data-driven environments
- Experience with cloud-computing frameworks such as Azure and AWS
