DescriptionSenior Data AnalystResponsibilities will include (but are not limited to): - Provide technical support in the principles, techniques and practices of mechanical engineering, electrical/electronics engineering and/or naval architecture as they relate to aircraft carrier hull, mechanical and electrical (HM&E), aviation and electronic shipboard systems. These tasks require extensive knowledge in the area of, but not limited to aircraft carrier maintenance philosophy, ship installation drawings, RCM principles and ship operations as well as the ability to organize data in a cohesive manner to submit finding for evaluation and action
- Provide technical support for the development and management and refinement of the non-nuclear CMP, BAWPs and modernization for execution during CVN availabilities. Requires ensuring technical requirements, periodicities and associated configuration are current within each assigned CMP maintenance requirement
- Collect, manage and analyze data (e.g., maintenance, risk, material condition) of specified systems or components based on specific criteria and submit finding for evaluation and action
- Assist in development of life-cycle strategies for aircraft carrier distributive systems and select components
- Develop, maintain and report metrics as required
QualificationsCandidates must possess the following professional experience and qualifications: - Bachelor's level degree in engineering/engineering technology or statistical analysis
- 10 years professional experience.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance (US Citizenship Required)
Desired Characteristics: - 15+ years professional experience.
- Data analytics & maintenance and modernization experience related to aircraft carriers, naval ships, or large ship design, construction, or maintenance
