Job Description:
Responsibilities: - Acts as a data analyst with subject matter expertise related to advisory data (e.g. Accounts, Positions, Transactions, Instruments, Proposal/Models, Portfolio Construction and Performance Reporting).
- Analyzes, defines, and prioritizes the data transformation requirements and functional or operational specifications in collaboration with to Wove product managers, data architects, data engineering and data owners.
- Performs data mining and analysis to determine impact assessment.
- Develop and maintain data lineage documentation and mappings to support data governance, regulatory, compliance, and data lineage analysis activities.
Experience: - Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.
- Typically requires 8-12 years of total work experience, preferably in securities or financial services.
- Strong understanding of data governance principles, data quality management concepts, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong stakeholder management and people skills, and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities under pressure.
- You will have strong analytical skills, are familiar with Agile methodology and played an active role in scrums such as backlog refinement, sprint planning and execution.
- Uses SQL or Python for data mining purposes to troubleshoot data conditions in relational databases.
- SQL Skills required 8-10 years data analysis querying skills/PL SQL skills/Big Data analysis.
- Experience with Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server, Mongdb, Colibr plus.
