POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst with a strong background in credit risk to join our team. This role plays a critical part in delivering data-driven insights that influence key business decisions and risk strategies. The ideal candidate is analytical, collaborative, and thrives in a dynamic environment that values accuracy, consistency, and continuous improvement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Credit Risk Analysis & Reporting:
    Develop and maintain robust analytical frameworks to support the measurement, management, and reporting of credit risk. Prepare reports and dashboards that inform executive leadership and support public disclosures.
  • Data Management & Standardization:
    Define and refine data requirements, identify sources, and establish standardized definitions to ensure consistency and transparency across systems and teams.
  • Dashboard Development & Visualization:
    Design and maintain enterprise dashboards using Power BI, SAS Visual Analytics, and other tools to provide intuitive and actionable insights across the organization.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    Partner with various teams, including risk, finance, and operations, to gather requirements and translate business needs into scalable data solutions. Lead efforts to improve data quality and address root causes of inconsistencies.
  • Data Integrity & Audit Readiness:
    Proactively identify and resolve data discrepancies through internal audits and cross-functional collaboration. Ensure all data processes and outputs meet internal standards and support audit readiness.
  • Strategic Insight & Decision Support:
    Deliver executive-level insights on portfolio performance, emerging credit risks, and trends. Support both standard and ad-hoc data requests, offering data-backed recommendations
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in data analytics, credit risk, or related fields.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, SAS, and enterprise-level data visualization tools (Power BI, SAS Visual Analytics).
  • Strong understanding of credit risk modeling concepts such as PD, LGD, EAD, and risk rating frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to optimize reporting processes and present complex data in a clear, compelling way.
  • Proven success in influencing cross-functional teams and driving data-informed decisions.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
  • Motivated self-starter with a growth mindset and eagerness to learn new tools and methodologies.
EXPERIENCE:
  • Experience in financial services and lending preferred.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree required.

Salary Range $115,000-150,000
