What You'll Do:

As a hands-on technical leader, you will have the chance to redefine the modern data ecosystem. You'll be pivotal in prototyping AI solutions and driving innovation alongside engineering, data science, and mission teams. Your expertise will shape the future of data and AI integration within the agency's operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Architect modern data solutions that propel the agency's AI and Data Strategies forward.
  • Design scalable data infrastructures, including data lakes, warehouses, and pipelines, ensuring top-notch compliance with data quality, security, and governance standards.
  • Work cross-functionally to seamlessly integrate AI and data solutions, providing technical leadership and guidance on best practices.
  • Lead initiatives such as Collibra and AI Platform integrations, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.
  • Stay ahead of emerging AI and data technologies, recommending adoption strategies that keep the agency at the cutting edge.
  • Select and implement the most effective technology platforms and tools for AI and data projects.
Your Expertise:
  • At least 10 years of experience in data architecture and database design.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in creating modern and scalable data architectures, with a preference for experience in AI agent workflows.
  • Mastery of tools and technologies like Collibra, Databricks, Snowflake, AWS Glue, PyTorch, ElasticSearch, and graph databases such as AWS Neptune and Neo4J.
  • Strong proficiency in cloud technologies, particularly AWS, and programming languages like Python.
  • Required: Public Trust Clearance.
Preferred Skills:
  • A Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or another quantitative discipline.
