Join Capital One's dynamic Cyber Information Security Office (ISO) as a Senior Cybersecurity Consultant specializing in Call Center operations. In this pivotal role, you will partner with our cybersecurity team and other technical teams to enhance our cybersecurity measures, specifically within the Card Servicing & Experiences Portfolio. Your expertise will contribute to technology projects that improve our Contact Center capabilities, including Interactive Voice Response, Voice over Internet Protocol, and Live Chat initiatives.
As a proactive consultant, you will apply your practical understanding of risk and security while knowing when to engage experts. Collaboration and innovation with various teams will be key as you drive initiatives forward. Your technical knowledge of cloud services, Voice over IP, and modern telephony architecture will be instrumental in securing different forms of internet communications. Key Responsibilities: - Serve as a primary Information Security contact for voice and customer servicing technology assets.
- Proactively provide consulting on Information Security matters to business and technical teams, covering areas like Infrastructure Security, Data Security, Network Architecture, and User Access Management.
- Leverage your expertise in Capital One's Information Security capabilities, policies, and standards.
- Encourage teams to integrate security practices early in their development processes.
- Manage and escalate cybersecurity risks effectively.
- Offer support on special Information Security topics as needed.
- Deliver regular updates to executive leadership regarding the Information Security status and risks.
- Collaborate with business leaders to understand their needs and objectives.
About You: - Solid foundation in technical architecture with a knack for identifying and mitigating risks during the delivery lifecycle.

Basic Qualifications: - High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
- At least 4 years of experience in security guidance and oversight.
- A minimum of 3 years conducting security risk assessments and architecture reviews.
- At least 3 years of experience in architecture, software design, networking, or cloud infrastructure.
- 1+ year of experience with telephony, contact center, or VoIP technologies in an architectural or security context.
Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree.
- 6+ years of experience in architecture, software design, networking, or cloud infrastructure.
- 4+ years of experience in securing public cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- 2+ years utilizing Agile methodologies.
- 2+ years in Enterprise Monitoring.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification.

Salary ranges for this position are as follows: McLean, VA: $193,400 - $220,700; Richmond, VA: $175,800 - $200,700. Actual compensation will depend on location and experience.
