The Senior Cyber Security Analyst will be joining a fast-paced team that is responsible for designing and implementing robust security architectures to protect the enterprise. This role is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security events and incidents. This role requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and controls. An ideal candidate will have extensive experience in incident response, threat analysis, and security monitoring, and will be capable of handling complex security challenges in a dynamic environment.

This position is hybrid, and ideally able to work periodically in our Wyomissing, PA or Philadelphia, PA office locations.

Monitor security systems and events to identify potential threats, intrusions, and other irregular activities.

Conduct in-depth analysis of security incidents, determining the root cause and impact, and recommend or implement appropriate mitigation measures.

Perform proactive threat hunting and vulnerability assessments to identify and address security weaknesses.

Develop and maintain incident response playbooks and procedures, ensuring they are up-to-date with the latest threat intelligence and best practices.

Collaborate with IT, Engineering, and other departments to ensure that security controls are integrated into all phases of the software development lifecycle.

Assist in the design and implementation of security tools and technologies to enhance the organization's security monitoring capabilities.

Provide mentorship and training to junior analysts and other team members on cybersecurity best practices and emerging threats.

Remain current on the latest cybersecurity trends, tools, and technologies to provide proactive defense against emerging threats.

Prepare detailed reports and documentation for security incidents, providing clear communication to stakeholders and management.

Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).

Bachelor's Degree (B.A./B.S.) in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field from a four-year college or university; or seven (7)+ years' related experience in a cyber security analysis and incident response; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, threat intelligence, and attack methodologies.

Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) tools, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and endpoint protection platforms.

Proven experience with network security, operating systems, and application security.

Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation and tool development is a plus.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex security incidents. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

Proficiency in security technologies and tools such as SIEM, PAM, EDR, and multi-factor authentication.

Provides technical support (including on-call as required) to evaluate problems and provide technical solutions for a 24/7 environment.

Must be able to travel up to 10% to corporate office locations, periodically.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English may also be required.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

STARTING SALARY:
Starting at $110,000 annually based on experience.
