Senior Cyber Network Engineer with Security Clearance

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior Cyber Network Engineer to support a stable, growing federal program based in Chantilly, VA. This position is fully onsite and requires an active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph. This job opens for applications on 5/12/2025. Responsibilities of the Senior Cyber Network Engineer: Work closely with customers on onboarding, updates, and troubleshooting issues with cybersecurity tools
Provides customer support via phone, email, or messaging services to resolve issues and answer questions. Provides insight into efficiencies that can be gained from the current workflow based on an understanding of the customers' requirements
Work with Engineers on troubleshooting and building proof-of-concept network topologies
Analyze customer feedback to assist in process improvement
Performs engineering support and system administration of specialized cybersecurity applications and systems, including installation, configuration, maintenance, patching, and backup/restore
Provides Tier 3 maintenance and engineering support for deployed cybersecurity technologies Qualifications of the Senior Cyber Network Engineer: 5+ years of related network experience (firewalls, routers, switches and load balancers)
Experience with Windows and Linux systems, general operating system security practices, TCP/IP networking, and network security concepts is required
Knowledge of and the use of AWS cloud technologies
Must have or be willing to obtain IAT Level II or higher certification within 6 months of hire
Bachelor's degree in a related field (required)
ACTIVE TS/SCI CI POLYGRAPH REQUIRED Compensation for the Senior Cyber Network Engineer: Salary: $120,000-140,000/year depending on experience
