Your Responsibilities:
  • Answer customer service calls promptly, within the first three rings.
  • Provide timely support through telephone, fax, or email, ensuring accurate order information is obtained and verified.
  • Generate potential sales leads by identifying opportunities during customer interactions.
  • Process and validate customer orders using our internal CRM/Axapta system and customer purchase orders.
  • Facilitate response actions for customer service requests and maintain accurate order and customer information.
  • Proofread submitted orders carefully to ensure the correct codes are applied prior to order confirmation.
  • Collaborate with scheduling/production teams to meet customer expectations for order fulfilment.
  • Engage in planning and development of target market strategies, collaborating with project managers and regional account managers.
  • Handle or redirect product or service failure complaints to the appropriate departments.
  • Conduct follow-up calls within three hours for customer inquiries.
  • Prepare price quotations on items outside the standard price book.
  • Coordinate with other locations to resolve issues, enhance customer service offerings, and ensure consistency.
  • Answer technical questions regarding products and services.
  • Modify quote statuses after orders are placed for better visibility within the sales team.
  • Participate in regular customer service department meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Take part in training sessions as necessary and assist in training others on company tools and services.
  • Adhere to and communicate company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other related duties and provide support to team members as directed by management.
Your Skill Set:
  • Associate's degree with 4-6 years of relevant glass and aluminum experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in customer service roles.
  • Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal), strong interpersonal abilities, as well as conflict management and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Detail-oriented with strong listening skills and data collection abilities.
  • Math skills to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, and measurements accurately.
  • Ability to apply basic algebra and geometry concepts.
  • Successful passing of a criminal background check is a requirement.
  • Exhibits excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective multi-tasking, organization, efficiency, and accuracy are essential.
