The Company is seeking a Senior Counsel with a focus on Privacy, AI, and Data Responsibility. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of the development of cutting-edge technologies, ensuring their compliance with global privacy, cyber, AI, and data protection laws. This role is pivotal in balancing innovation with legal compliance, and the Senior Counsel will be responsible for analyzing cybersecurity solutions, developing contract structures, and monitoring regulatory and legislative developments. The position requires a strategic and tactical approach to the needs of cybersecurity business clients, as well as the ability to think and act in alignment with the corporation's objectives. The ideal candidate will have a law degree, be a member of the Bar, and possess solid expertise in cyber law, global data protection legal frameworks, and a good understanding of cybersecurity technologies and practices. Applicants for the Senior Counsel position at the company should have a law degree, with membership to a Bar, and any additional qualifications such as a Master of Laws degree considered an asset. The role demands a professional with a solid track record in cyber law, including cybercrime and critical infrastructure requirements, and in-depth knowledge of US cyber law, enforcement, and procedures. Familiarity with the financial services industry and payment processing is also important. The candidate must have superior time management, planning, and organizational skills, as well as strong analytical, writing, and speaking abilities. Exceptional interpersonal skills and the capacity to work well in both team and individual settings are essential, as is the ability to motivate and influence professionals to achieve organizational goals.
