About the Role The Company is seeking a Senior Counsel, Commercial to lead its revenue contracts function. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the full spectrum of commercial contracts, with a focus on complex negotiations and the development of a high-performing contracts team. This strategic role involves shaping contract management processes and legal policies to ensure consistency, mitigate risk, and support business growth. The Senior Counsel will also serve as a trusted advisor to the sales leadership team, particularly in the structuring, negotiation, and drafting of a high volume of complex, strategic agreements with global customers. Key responsibilities for the Senior Counsel, Commercial include leading all aspects of revenue-generating contracts, collaborating with sales and channel partnerships teams, and establishing contract management policies to improve efficiency. The role requires a JD degree, active U.S. state bar membership, and a minimum of 7 years' commercial experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial in-house role within a high-growth technology company. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in commercial contract law, experience in scaling legal teams, and a collaborative, hands-on leadership style. Strong strategic and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to advise on global privacy laws and incorporate security documentation into customer agreements.
