Shipping and Receiving Clerk
Duration: 12 Months
Shift: Mon-Fri 7:30 am to 4 pm
Location: Sunnyvale, CA 94085


Job Description:

• Receive, inspect, and document all incoming shipments

• Process outgoing shipments, including packing, labeling, and scheduling carriers.

• Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and customers to ensure the timely delivery of products

• Resolve shipment discrepancies and report any damages or shortages to the appropriate parties

• Preparing shipments by assembling, counting, weighing, checking against the shipping order, and reporting discrepancies.

• Maintaining a clean and orderly workplace.

• Ensure compliance with shipping and receiving regulations and procedures

• Work closely with the on-site team to coordinate shipments and ensure smooth operations

• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Quals

• High School diploma or equivalent.

• Good verbal and written communication skills and organizational skills.

• 1+ years of experience in shipping and receiving or a related field

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Basic computer skills, including proficiency with inventory management software

• Availability to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.

• Strong organizational and time management skills
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Shipping/Receiving Clerk to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of products to customers, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

Key Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and document all incoming shipments
Process outgoing shipments, including packing, labeling, and scheduling carriers.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (Included But Not Limited To)
Adhering to safe work habits, rules, and practices. This includes the correct use of tools, machines, safety devices, and equipment.
Assemble orders and prepare goods for shipment
Recording shipment data, including weight, charges, and space availability
Receiving, unpacking materials/supplies, and reporting damages and discrepancies for accounting
Reimbursement and record-keeping purposes, and completing shipping and receiving reports
Move parts and assemblies within or between various buildings in accordance with the Facility Manager or Office Manager's priorities
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent.
Good verbal and written communication skills and organizational skills.
1+ years of experience in shipping and receiving or a related field
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Basic computer skills, including proficiency with inventory management software
