Position Overview
This role is critical to ensuring seamless production operations by managing plant build schedules, tracking performance metrics, and making necessary adjustments to meet goals. The position oversees a team of two staff members supporting a 24/7 production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with local logistics providers to ensure efficient vehicle movement to and from the facility, aligning with production schedules.
- Oversee vehicle reporting and tracking, including preparing completed work reports to support invoicing processes.
- Collaborate with the Plant Manager to develop shift schedules, manage overtime requirements, and address capacity constraints.
- Generate and distribute production reports for internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Attend customer meetings and address customer requests to ensure satisfaction and alignment with production goals.
- Maintain a professional demeanor, demonstrating strong oral and written communication skills, attention to detail, and teamwork capabilities.
- Utilize Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, to perform daily responsibilities effectively.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree (preferred).
- 1-3 years of production experience.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster positive relationships with colleagues and customers.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities to address challenges and drive continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in systems administration and experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
