Insight Global is seeking a Controller who will play a key role in overseeing, organizing, and executing the company's daily accounting operations. Their duties include managing financial accounts, overseeing payroll and budgets, handling cash receipts, and safeguarding the company's financial assets. Additionally, they are tasked with managing transactions, overseeing debts, analyzing cash flow, and conducting financial forecasting. This role involves collaborating with both internal and external audit teams to ensure the Accounting department adheres to proper procedures, meeting the organization's financial goals. Key responsibilities encompass analyzing financial data, producing reports based on the analysis, and providing insightful recommendations to business stakeholders. The ideal candidate is capable of thriving under tight deadlines while maintaining a high standard of work quality.
Must Haves:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Must come from a food, beverage, restaurant, entertainment, or adjacent industry
- Thorough knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all levels of an organization.
- Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
- Knowledge of employee relationship-building and performance management techniques.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with other financial systems.
Plusses:
- Knowledge of IFRS standards & SOX
