Russell Tobin & Associates is supporting a world-class biotech company that has an opening for "Senior Contracts Manager"
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently draft, assess, and negotiate highly complex contracts, ensuring favorable terms and managing risk exposure.
- Make legal decisions during contract negotiations with minimal reliance on the legal group, going beyond standard playbook language.
- Advise and influence internal stakeholders and DevSci leadership on contract and business terms and recommend process efficiencies.
- Lead and implement improvements in internal processes, templates, and playbooks to enhance collaboration with external partners.
- Mentor and train contract professionals and may supervise other team members.
- Deliver presentations to leadership, highlighting contract purposes, processes, and areas of concern.
- Maintain accurate contract records and respond to audit requests.
- Other Duties: Manage special projects and other tasks as assigned.
Key Requirements:
- Education: BS/BA in Business, Legal, or related discipline (JD or PhD preferred).
- Experience: 10+ years in contract management, with 7+ years for candidates with a JD or PhD.

- Location: South San Francisco, CA 94080
- Pay range: $75-$82/hr. on W2 DOE
- Duration: 6 months
