We're looking for a strategic and creative Senior Content & Media Marketer to lead the charge in amplifying BAND's voice across all media channels. In this role, you will guide and collaborate with our Content Producer Specialist, overseeing content direction while owning cross-channel campaign planning, media outreach, and the content calendar. You'll drive the broader strategy that ensures all content - organic, paid, and earned - works together to build brand awareness, engagement, and user acquisition.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Planning & Execution
- Translate strategic initiatives into actionable marketing campaigns that support business goals.
- Lead end-to-end campaign planning across organic, paid, and partner channels - from goal setting and audience targeting to creative strategy and execution timelines.
- Tailor campaigns by platform and audience to ensure relevance, impact, and engagement.
- Manage testing strategies and creative variations, rapidly iterating based on performance.
- Track, report, and share insights from campaign performance to refine strategies and improve execution playbooks.
Channel Strategy & Sourcing
- Develop and execute integrated channel strategies that align with campaign goals and audience behavior.
- Build an effective channel mix, allocate budgets strategically, and forecast impact across platforms.
- Guide content strategy for each channel, ensuring scalable production and platform-native execution.
- Maintain a robust pipeline of creators, users, and media partners to expand reach and visibility.
- Regularly assess channel performance and apply insights to refine sourcing priorities and creative direction.
Content Sourcing Leadership
- Establish scalable systems for sourcing high-impact UGC and community-driven storytelling from users, partners, and creators - including surveys, interviews, campaigns, and ambassador programs - to feed various marketing streams.
- Lead content producers in sourcing best practices, offering guidance on interview techniques and narrative development to generate effective content.
- Provide users and power users with creative briefs and incentive structures to ensure consistent, goal-aligned contributions.
- Own and manage the centralized content repository, keeping it organized, accessible, and aligned with usage rights and tagging standards.
Messaging Strategy & Content Innovation
- Develop a comprehensive messaging framework grounded in deep audience research, user insights, and evolving market trends.
- Craft messaging that is empathetic, persuasive, and aligned with both audience needs and product value.
- Spearhead innovation in content formats and storytelling styles to elevate cross-channel engagement.
- Oversee content briefs and creative direction for both internal teams and external creators, ensuring all output is on-brand and audience-optimized.
- Continuously assess content performance and audience feedback to refine messaging and recommend format or narrative adjustments.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in content strategy or marketing campaign management, with a proven track record of leading large-scale initiatives across digital channels.
- Strong strategic thinking, with the ability to translate business objectives into effective content and campaign strategies.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for various audiences and platforms.
- Demonstrated success in executing integrated campaigns across paid, owned, and earned media.
- Expertise in content production at scale, including managing user-generated content, creator partnerships, and multi-format storytelling.
- Experience managing and collaborating with content producers, freelancers, and external creators.
- (Strongly preferred) Experience in executing and managing high-performing paid social media ad campaigns.
- Comfortable working alongside videographers and contributing to video ideation, scripting, and production.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple timelines and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Experience with audience segmentation, user research, or persona development to inform content and messaging.
- Experience sourcing and leveraging user-generated content through strategic partnerships and community engagement.
- Proactive, collaborative, and comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Proficiency with marketing and analytics tools.
- Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
