How you'll make an impact

Responsible for developing advisory projects by the Power Consulting team for System Studies, supporting major electricity sector agents including distribution, transmission, retailers, and generators in addressing regulatory, economic, and electricity challenges.

The projects may involve supporting utilities to improve operational efficiency, evaluating renewable integration impacts (offshore and onshore), assessing the introduction of new actors in the electrical ecosystem (E-mobility, H2, industry electrification), or implementing sustainability/efficiency measures in electrical systems.

Participate in consulting assignments using established standards, methods, and technologies to develop solutions and resolve issues.

Assist in building and maintaining long-term relationships with internal and external customers to support profitable growth and satisfaction.

Support business development and marketing/sales tasks: clarify customer inquiries on technical issues, analyze feedback, and propose solutions.

Identify opportunities for new and repeat consulting business, building networks for information exchange.

Engage in project management activities such as planning, scheduling, ensuring customer satisfaction, managing finances and risks, and ensuring timely delivery of assignments as per contracts.

Uphold core values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility for actions while caring for colleagues and the business.

Create value for customers and the organization by ensuring successful transactions, contracts, and proposals, using sales techniques and negotiation tactics.

Conduct risk and opportunity assessments to ensure delivery as per contracts.

Lead the creation of new processes and tools, studying advanced techniques, and coaching colleagues.

Your background

Master's degree in electrical engineering, electrical power systems, or similar; advanced degrees preferred (Masters, PhD, MBA).

Over 8 years' experience in power systems studies, with knowledge of electrical power systems and consulting approach.

Experience and knowledge of the electric power industry, systems, and equipment.

Proficiency in power systems modeling, simulation, analysis, and software tools like PSS/E, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, ETAP, EMTP, PSCAD, RTDS; understanding static and dynamic studies.

Experience in analyzing and proposing solutions in areas such as Transmission, Renewable, Offshore, Hydrogen, Industry, Sustainability, Energy markets, BESS, FACTS, HVDC, E-mobility, smart city, railway, protections, insulation coordination, grid code compliance.

Knowledge of user-defined model development in software tools using Python, Fortran, DSL, NPL, or similar languages. Skills in digital solutions like AI, databases, data analytics are valued. Python scripting is a plus.

Fluent in English; additional languages are a benefit.
