We are seeking a
Senior Consultant for Performance and Attribution in Digital Assets to lead investment performance reporting and analytics for various Fidelity portfolios, especially in the realm of digital assets. Your expertise will be essential in addressing inquiries from investment staff and senior leaders regarding performance results. You will work with essential data from index, accounting, and advisor analytics to support performance and attribution needs. Ensuring that our internal calculations accurately reflect security and portfolio-level performance across all product types will be a key responsibility. You will champion data quality processes daily, promote enhancements, and ensure timely delivery of performance and attribution reports to investment professionals and managers.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring - Bachelor's degree in economics or finance preferred; a minimum of 7 years of professional experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in fund accounting or related performance environments.
- Strong knowledge of performance metrics, attribution methodologies, and multi-asset class investment strategies.
- Familiarity with blockchain technology, various cryptocurrencies, and market regulations.
- A genuine passion for digital asset technologies and performance analysis.
- Experience analyzing performance metrics in the cryptocurrency sector.
- Ability to define business requirements to aid technical specifications effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging both technical and non-technical teams.
- Proven capability in implementing performance improvement initiatives based on data analysis and market trends.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a robust ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Comfortable handling ambiguous situations and adeptly prioritizing tasks.
- Skilled in solving complex data issues and articulating solutions to clients and stakeholders.
- Able to manage relationships with client groups and business partners)
- Deliver accurate and timely investment performance and attribution reports to all Fidelity advisors.
- Compile, analyze, and validate results that inform both internal and external audiences.
- Conduct thorough analyses of portfolio performance, identifying key influencing factors such as industry trends, market capitalization, and security selection.
- Respond to ad-hoc inquiries from portfolio managers, senior leaders, and other business partners.

The Team The Performance, Attribution, and Product Disclosure team is dedicated to fulfilling investment staff inquiries and supporting their analytical needs concerning portfolio performance. This team is responsible for continuous monitoring of portfolio, index, and external data, ensuring accurate performance validation. We produce daily and periodic (monthly/quarterly) reports that break down portfolio returns for both marketing and portfolio management purposes, providing critical insights to our investment professionals.
